The Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association (GCAA) primary function is to provide a competitive sports venue for homeschool students. It is an environment that promotes a Christian approach to sports and teaches the student athlete the importance of bringing their faith into their athletics.
Stallions Baseball extends its services to athletes from surrounding areas, including Mecklenburg, Rowan, and Stanly counties. The GCAA baseball program strives to develop the character, skill, and teamwork of each student. Among their offerings, the GCAA Baseball program includes both men's and women's teams at the Middle School, JV, and Varsity levels while competing against various institutions, including Homeschool teams, Public Schools, Charter Schools, and Private Schools.
Stallions Basketball is a homeschool Christian basketball organization that offers competitive basketball opportunities for homeschool athletes in Concord, Charlotte, Huntersville, Harrisburg, Kannapolis, Salisbury, and surrounding areas. Our program competes against local public, private, and charter schools while promoting fundamental soundness, teamwork, and respectful attitudes honoring God, family, and teammates. We boast both middle and high school teams for both genders and are especially proud of our inspiring coaches.
Stallions Cross-Country serves athletes in and around Cabarrus County, North Carolina. The program provides a secure environment where students can honor God and achieve their best in sports. GCAA's Cross Country program, which has both male and female teams, is offered at Middle School, JV, and Varsity levels, and allows student-athletes to compete against a wide range of teams from Homeschool, Public, Charter, and Private Schools.
Stallions Softball provides a positive and Christian approach to sports that focuses on developing Christian character in student athletes. The GCAA Softball program includes teams at both the Middle School and High School levels, competing against various institutions such as Homeschool teams, Public Schools, Charter Schools, and Private Schools. Through their programs, they teach the importance of bringing faith into athletics, creating a nurturing environment that fosters character development.
Stallions Soccer is a program where athletes are encouraged to bring their faith into their athletics and to adopt a Christian approach to sports. They offer both men's and women's teams at the Middle School and Varsity levels, competing against Homeschool teams, Public Schools, Charter Schools, and Private Schools in various tournaments. The program provides a positive environment for young athletes to develop their skills while promoting a healthy balance between their sports and their faith.
Stallions volleyball has various goals such as fostering growth in each player as individuals, athletes, and Christians. We aim to establish a solid foundation of fundamental and technical skills while also increasing knowledge and skills for middle and high school players. With an emphasis on community support and coaching excellence, we challenge our players to excel, not only for themselves but also for the team, organization, and communities. The girls' volleyball season usually runs from July to November with tryouts and team selection taking place in June.
